Post colonialism

After each class period that we have discussed post colonial and feminism, all the information has interested me more on post colonial. Throughout the novel Things Fall Apart, you see countless times when the so called "white" man taking over or domination the Igbo tribe. The white man could do this because back then, Indians where looked down upon and where thought to be more of a lesser race than the white man. The reason for the white man to want to colonize the Indians because they believe that what they say or do is the correct thing to do so when the Indians basically say no being turned to Christianity, the so called higher race uses deadly force to get whatever they want.
A good example of post colonial or colonization would be Great Britain. Great Britain believe they where it, the boss of everyone and everything. They used over powering force to get what they wanted so most countries just gave them what they wanted so they didn't have to risk going to war with them. Therefore a good lens for Things Fall Apart  would be post colonialism.
